Matcha is historically made in Japan and small quantities in neighboring countries like Korea, China, Taiwan, etc. In the wake of current matcha craze, other countries have stepped into matcha making, but Japan is still considered to produce the highest quality of matcha.
Our matcha comes from various matcha producing regions in Japan, hope to expand to other countries. Here are some tea purveyors and growers we work with.
